About our company

NT Ltd. is a Hungarian member of Czech AGROFERT Group, has been producing and selling refined sunflower oil in Kiskunfélegyháza for almost 20 years. Thanks to our processing capacity growth, seed consumption and production in Hungary are balanced to the point where Hungarian farmers have no longer need for export. With our dedication to purchase local seeds whenever possible, we proudly can say on the bottles of our oil: “Made in Hungary”. Please contact us to become our supplier. What was once a “ricapirító” has now become a food oil factory with the most modern equipments in the industry. In the meantime, factory has increased its capacity several times and now serves the key customers in Hungary, the EU and beyond. However, technical progress alone would not be enough without the support of great colleagues. About our factory

Crushing:

Newly installed seed receiving and quality control line belong to the fastest in Hungary for any agricultural processing activity. By eliminating delays and improving quality control accuracy we help our suppliers to have a good experience by cooperating with us and becoming our long-term partners. During processing we first remove the husk from the kernel which is burnt in shell-fired boilers, thus providing the heat energy for the entire factory. After conditioning, i.e. roasting, the cracked kernel is processed in screw presses, which extract the oil by means of the high pressure generated inside them. After crushing residual oil can be removed from the press section by extraction. The extracted crude oil is dried and filtered before being further processed in the refinery. From the oil-free press cake, the solid “by-product” left over from the seed processing, we further produce high-protein sunflower meal, which is sold to our partners as excellent animal feed. In 2021, we launched our state-of-the-art pressing plant.

Refining:

Our company started producing sunflower edible oil more than 2 decades ago, then without extraction and with batch-refining. As a result of the investments and improvements made over the years, we can proudly say that the sunflower seeds we supply are processed in one of the most modern factories in Europe. The new plant, which started in 2021, have zero emissions, significantly reducing the environmental impact of the factory. An important part of the technological upgrade is the almost doubling of processing capacity.

Bottling:

Our bottling line can bottle and package edible oil in 4 different types of packaging. Our products are available in 1, 2, 5 and 10 litre sizes. Our 1 litre PET production line came on stream in 2016, significantly increasing our bottling capacity. The fully automatic line can produce edible oils with minimal human interaction. With this line we have become one of the first in Europe to save a significant amount of plastic by reducing the weight of the bottles. All this so that the quality of the bottles did not suffer. In 2020, we equipped our 2 litre PET production line with similar know-how, making this packaging more environmentally friendly by drastically reducing plastic consumption. We are constantly working to make our production even more sustainable. We are exploring the benefits of new, modern technologies, taking into account market needs, but not losing sight of safe use in the kitchen.
